Camels can go a very long time with no water and that makes them perfect for traveling in a place that has little or no water at all. In fact, a camel can go many months with no water and still be fine

if it is not too hot out.

Camels

Camels are an exception to the body temperature rule for mammals. Their temperature can vary between 93ºF to 106ºF. This temperature change would kill most animals, but not the camel.

They’re made for life in the hot desert!
