Mammals live in the oceans too! Whales, dolphins, manatees, and dugong are all sea mammals that breathe air with lungs but live under the water all the time.
We know they are mammals because they nurse their young with milk, they have a hinged jaw, they have a backbone, and they are born live instead of hatching from eggs.

Whales are difficult to photograph because they are so big and always under water.
